CEO spouses getting perks as well
This last week, MSNBC talked quite a bit about CEO perks and then they even talked about spouses getting perks as well. They noted that spouses were getting anything from flights on the corporate jet to cookware for their house.
It seems like the higher the CEO’s salary is, the less they want to pay for things.
Thankfully there are many more disclosure requirements in the corporate filings. If spouses are found to be abusing perks, it will be well noted and I’m sure there would be quite a bit of media attention.
As long as the CEO can perform for the company, I do not see a problem with it.
